Simple but Powerful: Part II

PERCEPTION OF SELF-CONFIDENCE THROUGH LOGICAL INCREMENTALISM: THE “BABY STEPS” IN ACHIEVING YOUR GOAL.

“If you want to write, then write” is a goal-action-oriented and powerful statement but how do you achieve this? Let us use the “Baby Steps” method. The GOAL of the BABY is to stand up and walk. But this does not happen automatically. The baby must LEARN and master crawling first. Then the baby must struggle (FALLING MANY TIMES IN THE PROCESS) to stand by the MUMMY’S LEG, the table, etc. After SEVERAL WEEKS, the baby finally stands up and WALK.

Now let us focus on the walking child. This time, let us turn to the “A, B, C”. When we are learning the ALPHABET (the GOAL), we start with A, then B, the C, then.....Z. Well, let us understand that it is not a straight forward thing. My 3 years old daughter learned how to write C first before A. What I am getting at is that while we are pursuing our goal, we may accomplish some things ahead and come back to correct somethings behind. Even at that, there is a general and logical trend from start to finish that we must not ignore. DOING SO IS HARMFUL.

Finally, “Rome was never built in a day”. Have your read about or watch movies about the Roman Empire? It was a great civilization. But it took many years to reach to that level of greatness. The act of pursuing and accomplishing your GOAL through the baby steps methodology, is what I call the “Perception of Self-Confidence through logical incrementalism”.
